Research topic: Intelligent systems for digital pattern analysis and design support
This study proposes a new framework (the REG framework) for generating decorative patterns in the fashion industry using artificial intelligence.
The framework consists of three intelligent systems: the repeated pattern detection system (R-system), the automatic design element extraction and vectorization system (E-system),
and the vector-based digital pattern generation system (G-system).
The systems analyze input images, extract useful design elements and rules, and generate new vector-based patterns that meet human aesthetic requirements.
The proposed framework promotes the use of artificial intelligence for design generation, catering to the speedy fashion product development cycles.

Description:
Various making-up techniques and practices on the machinery,
work aids, sewing sequences and handling skills of various
types of apparel products and requirements. Correct choice of
seam type, stitch type, edge-finishing, fastening system,
openings, etc. in relation to different fabric properties (sheer,
stretchable, fake fur, etc.), aesthetic (special and decorative
sewing effects) and functional requirements, as well as enduses.
Reviewer for the International Textile and Apparel Association Conference (ITAA), the Fractals (SCI 1), and other journals and conferences related to fashion and textile.
The design project aims to create a timeless, three-dimensional minimalist fashion collection inspired by minimalist artwork and previous works of masters. Draping is used as a bridge between minimalism and fashion design, allowing for unexpected works. The project involves experimenting with adding, modifying, and cutting details to improve the collection's appearance. The slogan "less is more" reflects the high level of control required for minimalism, which combines decorative and utilitarian elements while abandoning purely decorative ones.
